ASRC Federal Holding Company Logistician Subject Matter Expert in Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland
ASRC Federal Facilities Logistics (AFFL), LLC, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, posted this requisition for the purpose of capturing data for those interested in working on the Program Executive Office, Command, Control and Communications Tactical (PEO C3T) Systems Engineering and Program Management (SEPM) contract in the event the contract is awarded to AFFL. Specifically, AFFL is looking for a Logistician Subject Matter Expert. The position will be located at APG, MD. They must have qualifications and/or particular expertise are exceptional and/or highly unique. They will initiate, supervise, and/or develop requirements from a project’s inception to conclusion for complex to extremely complex programs.
Job responsibilities will include:
Managing the logistical aspects of product life cycles, including coordination or provisioning of samples, and the minimization of obsolescence.
Developing and implementing logistics program activities including ILS, technical documentation, RAM, provisioning, etc.
Resolving logistics problems
Compiling data on standardization and interchangeability of parts to expedite logistic activities.
Performing system life-cycle cost analysis and developing component studies.
Planning, organizing, and executing logistics support activities such as maintenance planning, repair analysis, and test equipment recommendations.
Staying informed of logistics technology advances and Government policies, in order to apply them to improve logistics processes.
Requirements :
Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or related degree.
10+ years of experience as a logistician within the DoD environment.
6 additional years of experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
1 academic year at an accredited college or university in an accredited preferred degree related post-secondary program may be substituted for 1 year of experience.
Clearance Requirements
Secret clearance is required.
