ASRC Federal Holding Company Project Technician in Anchorage, Alaska
ASRC Federal Field Services is seeking a Project Technician to support our program on JBER in Anchorage, AK. This position is a remote unless the qualified candidate is local to Anchorage area- than it will be a Hybrid role expected to be in the office 3 days a week.
Position Summary:
The Project Technician for ASRC Field Services is responsible for research and data analysis. In addition, this individual creates reports based on program needs, required deliverables and data obtained. The Project Technician will work with the Program manager, QA Manager, and departmental leads on executing changes, and/or updates to project tasks. This individual will perform complex and confidential administrative related functions to ensure department operations flow smoothly.
Essential Job Functions:
Manage implementation and continuity of the AIMS inventory system
Oversee Fleet management of the 18 service vehicles
Monitor and Track Programmatic and Project Tasks
With minimal oversight compile reports and summaries of work
Updates, checks, and completes records, forms, and documents for AFFS
Conduct data analysis and synthesize and/or create reports and spreadsheets in excel based on program needs or program deliverable, to track program benchmarks and make recommendations for change
Point of contact for staff collaboration for cross departmental and programmatic staff and tasks
Provide administrative support related to the overall management of the program
Other duties as assigned
Requirements :
High School Diploma, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience preferred,
3 years or more directly related experience. Experience with project management, data analysis or another related field preferred
Preferred Requirements:
Demonstrated behavior consistent with skills necessary to manage special projects
Must be proficient in MS Word, Power Point, Outlook, the internet, with a high level of proficiency in Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, required.
Ability to work independently and excellent organizational skills, required.
Analytical ability is required to gather and summarize data for reports, find solutions to various administrative problems, and prioritize work
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, the customer, and management
Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle a high paced and diverse work group, must demonstrate tact and diplomacy
