ASRC Federal Holding Company Senior Test and Validation Lead (supporting Space Force) in Colorado Springs, Colorado

ASRC Federal ASTS is seeking an experienced Senior Test and Validation Lead with a TS/SCI clearance to support upcoming positions in Colorado Springs, CO. This is an exciting and impactful opportunity to support the US Space Force (USSF) in a critical national mission to develop and deploy cyber capabilities that protect USSF mission systems from threats.

The Senior Test and Validation Lead will serve as the primary point of contact for all agile software development activities related to testing and validation. This position requires expertise in fielding cybersecurity applications and services, as well as the ability to provide expert advice on test artifact generation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the testing and validation effort for all software development projects, working closely with development teams to ensure that all software is fully tested and validated.

  • Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test procedures to ensure thorough testing of all software components and interfaces.

  • Provide expert advice on test automation, including test-driven development, software test planning, and software test automation.

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using programming languages such as C, C#, C++, Python, Java, or Perl.

  • Implement and maintain a binary repository lifecycle management system, using tools such as Artifactory.

  • Ensure compliance with DOD RMF Certification requirements for all testing and validation activities.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners, and proactively communicate project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with other teams, including development, cybersecurity, and operations, to ensure that all testing and validation activities are coordinated and aligned with program goals and objectives.

  • Ensure adherence to SAFe Agile methodologies and best practices to manage the software development lifecycle, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

This position is offering a pay range of $130,000 - $190,000 depending on experience, seniority, geographic locations, and other factors permitted by law. Requirements :

  • Active TS/SCI clearance, with ability to gain SAP access.

  • 8+ years of experience in test automation related to test-driven development, software test planning, and/or software test automation.

  • Strong programming language knowledge with a background in at least one of the following: C, C#, C++, Python, Java, or Perl.

  • 2+ years of experience using Artifactory for automation and binary repository lifecycle management.

  • DOD 8570/8140 Certification.

  • Knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices, including Agile, Scrum, and Kanban. SAFe Agilist preferred.

  • Experience with the United States Space Force (USSF) or United States Air Force (USAF) preferred.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.

  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify and troubleshoot complex technical issues.

  • Attention to detail to ensure thorough testing and validation of software components and interfaces.
