ASRC Federal Holding Company Technical Lead/Full Stack Developer (supporting Space Force) in Colorado Springs, Colorado

ASRC Federal ASTS is seeking an experienced Technical Lead/Full Stack Developer with a TS/SCI clearance to support upcoming positions in Colorado Springs, CO. This is an exciting and impactful opportunity to support the US Space Force (USSF) in a critical national mission to develop and deploy cyber capabilities that protect USSF mission systems from threats.

The Technical Lead / Full Stack Developer will serve as the primary technical lead for all agile software development activities related to defensive cybersecurity operations implementation. This position requires a strong background in full stack development, as well as expertise in product increment planning using SAFe Agile.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the technical lead for all software development projects, working closely with development teams to ensure that all software is designed and implemented according to best practices and standards.

  • Provide expert advice on product increment planning using SAFe Agile, ensuring that software development efforts are aligned with program goals and objectives.

  • Ensure adherence to SAFe Agile methodologies and best practices to manage the software development lifecycle, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

  • Develop and maintain software architecture and design documentation to ensure that all software components and interfaces are well-defined and meet system requirements.

  • Lead the development of software components and interfaces, using programming languages such as C, C#, C++, Python, Java, or Perl.

  • Conduct code reviews to ensure that all software is well-structured, maintainable, and secure.

  • Collaborate with other teams, including cybersecurity and operations, to ensure that all software development efforts are coordinated and aligned with program goals and objectives.

  • Ensure compliance with DOD RMF requirements for all software development activities.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners, and proactively communicate project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with other teams, including development, cybersecurity, and operations, to ensure that all testing and validation activities are coordinated and aligned with program goals and objectives.

This position is offering a pay range of $175,000 - $240,000 depending on experience, seniority, geographic locations, and other factors permitted by law. Requirements :

  • Active TS/SCI clearance, with ability to gain SAP access.

  • 10+ years of programming and IT experience, with at least 4 years in full stack development.

  • Strong expertise in product increment planning using SAFe Agile.

  • Experience with software architecture and design documentation.

  • Strong programming skills in C, C#, C++, Python, Java, or Perl

  • Experience with agile software development methodologies and automation tools, such as JIRA, Confluence, Git, and Artifactory.

  • DOD 8570/8140 Certification.Knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices, including Agile, Scrum, and Kanban. SAFe Agilist preferred.

  • Experience with the United States Space Force (USSF) or United States Air Force (USAF) preferred.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.

  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
