ASRC Federal Holding Company Quality Environmental Health Safety Manager in ENID, Oklahoma

ASRC Federal Field Service is seeking a Quality Environmental Health Safety Manager (QEHS) in support of our Vance AFB Base Operations Support Contract Located in Enid Oklahoma.

Responsible for QEHS performance on Vance Air Base BOS Contract. Offers compliance information to all stakeholders including functional area management, environmental, scheduling, engineering, operations, safety, corporate, and quality on service provider decisions in conjunction with the Contract Manager and Deputy Contract Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and monitoring the VANCE BOS Quality Management System, Environmental Management System and Safety and Health Management Systems.

  • Manages the functions of the QEHS staff to implement quality data driven corrective actions.

  • Drives continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

  • Determine applicable QEHS policies, directives, objectives or practices.

  • Oversees the management, operation, maintenance on all base QEHS systems including Pest Management, Groundwater Treatment and the HazMat Pharmacy program.

  • Performs program generic QEHS services.

  • Identify gaps in existing processes, resolves procedural issues, coordinate process workshops etc. Manages QEHS internal audit and quality control programs.

  • Monitors and documents program metrics and initiates improvement actions based on quality data trend analysis.

  • Track and manage QEHS corrective actions to completion and evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions.

  • Monitor performance of suppliers that may impact ASRC's ability to meet the expectations of our customers.

  • Conduct internal investigations for QEHS compliance or mishap issues.

  • Facilitate and lead efforts to establish and monitor customer satisfaction.

  • Interface with program management and customer contacts.

  • Supervises and directs assigned staff to achieve individual department goals and objectives.

  • Must posses excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Knowledgeable in Human and Organizational Performance (HOP) and it's application.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 10 years of Quality, Environmental, Health, and/or Safety experience in Environment Engineering/Management

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

  • Must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident, due to contract requirements

Preferred Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering/Management, Master's Degree in QEHS, or related degree

  • Experience as a manager or higher with direct reports

  • Direct experience with DOD health & safety requirements
