ASRC Federal Holding Company Senior Project Support Specialist in Greenbelt, Maryland

Position : Senior Project Support Specialist

Location : Greenbelt, MD

We are seeking a Senior Project Support Specialist V to support a NASA contract in Greenbelt, MD .


  • Provide senior-level administrative support to the Polar Operational Environmental Satellite (POES) and Space Weather Follow On (SWFO) Projects.

  • Proactively interface with all levels of management and project team members to ensure the Project Office has all areas of administrative support covered.

  • Greet visitors and answer phones promptly and use good judgment to prioritize the distribution of messages in a timely manner.

  • Manage outlook calendars for conference rooms and the Project Management team.

  • Manage the inventory of all office supplies and place orders for replenishment as needed.

  • Technical writing and editing.

  • Manage and track official correspondence, action items, and document routing.

  • Arrange meeting logistics, including agenda, attendees, reserving conference rooms and/or call-in numbers, and compiling meeting minutes.

  • Process onboarding and off-boarding requests.

  • Event planning for reviews and special events.


  • Exceptional customer service skills and quick to respond to customer requests.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to manage time and meet the many reporting deadlines.

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment; ability to interact with all levels of professionals.

  • Possess a strong sense of ethics, discretion, and professional sophistication.

  • Must be proactive with strong organizational skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook).

  • Familiar with formatting NASA official correspondence is a plus.

  • Individual must meet government NAC and citizenship/permanent residency requirements for access to NASA GSFC. Extensive background investigation will be performed as a requirement of the job.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience.
