ASRC Federal Holding Company Plumber Supervisor - active Secret in Huntsville, Alabama

ASRC Federal is seeking to identify a Plumber Supervisor with an active Secret clearance in anticipation of upcoming work in Huntsville, AL

Overview:

The foreman will have the responsibility of supervising work crews involved in commercial plumbing construction projects. This role entails managing various project requirements, such as materials, personnel, schedules, and communication with the project management team, customers, and building officials, among other duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Possesses a comprehensive grasp of project schedules, milestones, submittals, contract documents (including addenda, specifications, drawings), and in-house shop drawings, and can effectively use these documents to coordinate on-site work with other trades.

  • Ensures the completion of required paperwork and diligently processes daily reports, next week plans, accident reports, and disciplinary reports.

  • Manages and oversees large-scale commercial plumbing construction projects, concurrently supervising multiple job sites.

  • Demonstrates a track record of effectively managing multiple crews, ranging from Foreman-level personnel to Apprentices.

  • Exhibits a proven ability to collaborate with other trades to fulfill plumbing scope of work within the project schedule.

  • Capable of making sound financial decisions on behalf of the company.

  • Takes responsibility for ensuring the safe performance of personnel and equipment on their job sites.

  • Demonstrates the ability to plan effectively.

  • Possesses an understanding of the project's workflow and can communicate with the operations or project manager regarding current or future labor requirements on the job.

  • Understands and complies with the company's tool policy and can convey these principles to less experienced employees.

Requirements :

Qualifications :

  • High school/college graduate, holder of G.E.D., or equivalent studies/experience.

  • 2 years of management experience

  • 3 years working in the plumbing industry

  • Supervision of projects ranging from $1M - $5M in value

  • Experience in overseeing job site personnel – foreman through apprentice

  • Experience completing required documentation electronically

  • Effective communication skills, both verbally as well as written

  • Complies and promotes company Safety Policy

  • Healthcare and medical gas experience preferred

  • Ability to stand, bend, squat, kneel and comfortably lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Team player, leader and motivated to learn and take ownership and accountability.

  • Change agent, demonstrating courageous leadership driving and continuous improvement mindset.

  • Valid State Driver’s License & clean driving record

  • Must be a US Citizen. Possess an active Secret clearance or higher.

  • Be able to successfully complete a government issued background investigation.

Tools/Technology/Certifications:

Must be a certified Master Plumber
