ASRC Federal Holding Company General Maintenance Worker in North Charleston, South Carolina
SUMMARY: ASRC Federal Field Services provides logistical support at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in North Charleston (FLETC Federal Complex off Sprull Avenue). We are looking for a General Maintenance Worker (GMW).
Roles / Responsibilities:
Replace electrical receptacles, wire, bulb, ballast, switches, fixtures, and motors.
Use plaster and compound to patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings.
Repair or replacing sinks, water coolers, and toilets.
Paint structures and equipment.
Repair or replace concrete floors, steps, and sidewalks.
Replace damaged paneling and floor tiles.
Hang doors and install door locks.
Perform Preventive Maintenance on exhaust fans, emergency lighting, HVAC equipment, water coolers, pumps, and facility operating equipment.

Requirement:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred.
Must have 2 years of recent experience as a General Maintenance worker.
Must be a US or Naturalized Citizen.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving history and able to operate a vehicle.
Must be able to push, pull and/or lift 70 lbs.
Clear and effective written and communication skills.
Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen and physical.
