ASRC Federal Holding Company Part Time Bus Driver in North Charleston, South Carolina

ASRC Federal Field Services provides logistical support at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in North Charleston (FLETC Federal Complex off Spruill Avenue). We are looking for Part-Time Bus Drivers.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Drivers are required to drive 15 passenger vans, 37-55 passenger Buses transporting students to and from the airport, hotels, the Dorms and various other locations depending on requirements set by the Government

  • Drivers are required to do a daily pre-trip assessment of the Bus / Van following the established DOT regulations.

  • Drivers are required to fuel and clean the buses/vans at the end of each shift

Requirements :

  • All drivers shall have a valid South Carolina driver's license, and for positions or duties requiring such, a valid South Carolina commercial driver’s license (CDL), and be approved by appropriate Federal, State, and municipal laws, codes, and regulations in connection with operating a transportation service

  • All drivers must comply with all driver qualifications as directed by Part 391, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations

  • Must have basic customer service skills

  • Transportation operates 7 days a week 24 hours a day, candidate will be required to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays and be very flexible

  • Must be able to pass a background check, drug test, and physical

  • High School Diploma, GED preferred

  • Must be at least 21 years of age

Preferred Qualifications

  • Currently possess or ability to obtain a qualified chauffeur’s license approved by appropriate federal, state and municipal officials and in accordance with all applicable laws
