ASRC Federal Holding Company Administrative Analyst in Sterling Heights, Michigan

The US Army is currently in the process of exploring the insertion of autonomous/self-driving vehicle technologies to automate their ground equipment supply chain. By converting material, fuel and equipment transport trucks into robots, Army leadership expects to reduce the need for soldiers to be put in harm's way.

ASRC is hiring for an Administrative Analyst to support Ground Vehicle Systems Center (GVSC) located at the Detroit Arsenal in Warren, MI.

Overview:

The Administrative Analyst should be able to provide:

  • Capable of standing or sitting for extended periods of time.

  • Must be able to work in a team based or individual environment.

  • Monitor and report performance against plans to ensure that contractual, cost, and schedule objectives are met.

  • Monitor and report performance against plans including budgets and schedules to meet contractual/project requirements for an assigned portion of a program.

  • Interface with customers and vendors as required.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participates in establishing and defining program plan requirements and coordinates interdepartmental development of program plans.

  • Administrative Analyst is responsible for planning, coordinating, and performing a variety of administrative services in support of the Associate Director (AD), Assistant Associate Director (AAD), and Division/Branch Chiefs (DC/BCs).

  • Performs various secretarial/administrative functions and leads coordination of larger organization initiatives, meetings, and visits for the AD/AAD.

  • Data filing, email/mail procedures, accountability, supply ordering, visit coordination, preparation of travel orders/vouchers and security.

  • Works with Government Credit Card holders on supply orders, maintaining records on purchases and deliveries.

  • Works with team associates in ensuring hours and dollar amounts charged against projects and overhead are charged against correct work directives.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)

  • Ability to acquire and maintain a Secret Clearance from the Federal Government

  • Retired/Veteran preferred but not necessary.

Education/Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent and one year work-related experience.
