ASRC Federal Holding Company Project Manager (supporting Naval Research Lab) in Welcome, Maryland
The Project Manager (PM) will plan, oversee, and document all aspects of the project(s) assigned. They will be expected to develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal team members and proactively work with a variety of customers to gather and analyze technical requirements and develop technical solutions. The PM will create and develop presentations and reports for senior management and will develop and/or assist with the development of Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, Process Flows, and other documents relating to their program. The PM is expected to utilize best practices and techniques for addressing customer concerns and actively respond to requests, questions, or comments concerning the team and assigned responsibilities.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree, or 7 years of equivalent work experience
Previous experience as a PM or Systems Engineer desired
Strong communications and customer facing skills especially with senior leadership
Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach to management
Ability to proactively communicate with customers and team members to anticipate and solve problems
Must possess excellent organizational and planning skills
Must be proficient in MS Office Suite, Project and Visio
Department of Defense (DoD), and preferably Navy work experience
Knowledge of satellite ground systems to include RF, crypto equipment and networks desired
Comfortable in briefing and communicating with senior government managers and with consultant SMEs.
PMP Certification desired
Ability to develop plans in Microsoft Project and track key schedule and performance parameters. desired
Security Clearance:
- Must have an active Secret clearance, and the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance
